About Dr. Sirken

Dr. David Sirken is a board-certified neurologist with Global Neurosciences Institute, where he serves as Director of their Neuro-Hospitalist Program and Director of Medical Student Education. He is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology at Drexel University College of Medicine, where he also serves as the Associate Director of the Neurology Student Clerkship, Associate Director of the Neurology Student Pathway, Neurology Clerkship Site Director for Global Neurosciences Institute, and Director of In-Patient Neurology. Dr. Sirken has also been appointed an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor of Neurology for the Lewis Katz School of Medicine of Temple University.

He specializes in stroke treatment and has subspecialty board certifications in Vascular Neurology, Headache Medicine, and Brain Injury Medicine.

Dr. Sirken completed a residency and fellowship at the Medical College of Pennsylvania and internships at the New York Methodist Hospital and the Mercy Catholic Medical Center. He received his doctorate degree at the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine and a Master of Science in Medical Education from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association, the American Academy of Neurology, the National Headache Foundation, and the American Headache Society.
